water sensitive urban design

Our Hydraulic Team is always focussed on WSUD principles in all projects. Our endeavour is to protect a vital natural resource whilst delivering cost effective and practical solutions.

Case Studies

Durham Green Village, Menangle

This 10 hectare site has been subdivided for 170 villa homes specially designed for older Australians as well as a centralised three storey Residential Care Facility (RCF) building incorporating the community facilities.

Design and documentation included the internal site drainage system and approximately 2.0 kilometres of trunk drainage through the streets. WSUD principles were incorporated throughout the design.

Sophisticated management and treatment of storm water and services were required to ensure successful design of this project, including input and advice into a design-construct component for on-site waste water treatment.

Cranbrook School

This site is being developed for use for a new Junior School. WSUD designs included collection of storm water in permeable pavements and swales, collection and on-site reuse as well as clever integration with the landscape principles.
